1. Wrong IFSC Entered

  • Check transaction status immediately in your banking app.
  • If status is pending, contact your bank support and provide UTR/reference ID.
  • If transfer failed, amount is generally auto-reversed within bank timelines.

2. Transfer Pending for Long Time

  • Verify if transaction was made near cutoff windows or bank holidays.
  • Check if beneficiary was newly added and still under cooling period.
  • Track UTR/reference ID through your bank support team.

3. Failed Transfer but Amount Debited

  • Do not repeat high-value transfer immediately.
  • Wait for auto-reversal as per bank SLA and monitor statement.
  • Raise dispute with timestamp, amount, and transaction reference if reversal delays.

4. Prevention Checklist

  • Verify IFSC and account number from official sources.
  • Use small trial transfer before large amount.
  • Save recipient details only after successful first transaction.
