Safety Checklist Before Issuing

  • Do not leave blank spaces in payee or amount area.
  • Strike out unused bearer/open spaces as per bank norms.

When IFSC and MICR Matter

IFSC is mostly for electronic transfers, while MICR is used in cheque-processing contexts. For digital transfers, always rely on validated IFSC data from official channels.
